Update on conditions at Glenshee and training on 14 & 15 January. The snow cover in general is poor at the moment but the race pistes at Glenshee reamin in good condition. Glenshee will be opening the Cairnwell T-bar and race pistes this weekend, as well as opening the Cairnwell restaurant for GPS to use for packed lunches. No catering will be provided at Cairnwell, but the main Base Cafe will be open as usual.
GPS trainees should therefore meet at the Club Hut as usual, but bring their lunch in a backpack. We will then all walk over to Cairnwell and base oursleves there for the rest of the day. Glenshee are once again showing fantastic support for GPS by allowing us this privilege. Please note that the Cairnwell lift (and perhaps others) will be open to the public as usual over the weekend.
This forecast for the weekend is for good weather and visibility, with hard snow. GPS will be using the two new video cameras and laptops for video analysis with replay in the Cairmwell cafe. It should be a great training weekend!
