Update: Update for 14/15January 2012

The Club Hut

The Club Hut is our meeting point, packed lunch room and operational base.

This fantastic facility was refurbished from a semi-derelict state thanks to a £5000 grant from Snowsport Scotland in 2010, over 1000 hours of volunteer labour and the generosity of local businesses who provided expertise worth many thousands of pounds for free.

The refurbishment included a completely new roof, new power supply, new kitchen, painting inside and out, a new door, some new tables, two new BBQs, audio and video kit etc etc.

There are basic kitchen facilities with self service hot drinks available. Please note there is no running water in the kitchen, so please bring your water. A microwave and kettle are available for warming lunches or drinks.  There is a cooker available for use for special events by prior arrangement only.

There are video and audio facilities within the Hut for training video replay and entertainment. There is a radio base station for keeping in touch with the coaches and groups.

The Hut has plenty of space to leave bags and spare clothing while you are outside.

There are no toilet facilities at the Club Hut, so please use the facilities before climbing up the hill!

Please note the Club Hut is run by us for own use.  No one works here - so please leave the Hut as you find it, taking all your own rubbish away.

The Club Hut Secretary will prepare a rota and families are asked to volunteer to give the Hut a quick "sweep out and once over" on one occasion per season.  Please note that the Hut door is locked with a combination code. You can obtain this from anyone on the GPS committee.
